Definitions
“Assets” refer to any personal, financial, or official documents, notes, or
digital files that a user uploads, stores, categorizes, or manages within the Zibcha platform.
These may include, but are not limited to, insurance policies, bank account details, investment
proofs, property papers, wills, identification documents, emergency instructions, or any other
information the user deems necessary to retain or share securely via the app.
“Contacts” refer to individuals whom the user designates within the Zibcha
platform to either view, receive, or be notified about specific Records. These individuals may
include family members, trusted friends, legal representatives, or any other person authorized by
the user. Contacts may be invited to access Zibcha through verification mechanisms and may be
assigned permissions or roles as defined by the user, such as emergency contact or dependent.
“NLP” stands for No Longer Present, a status within the Zibcha platform used to
indicate that a user is deceased. This designation is not assigned automatically but is initiated
by one or more verified Contacts of the user. After a predefined validation period, which may
include verification steps such as submission of a death certificate or consensus from multiple
Contacts, the user’s status is updated to NLP.
Once marked as NLP, Zibcha may trigger workflows such as granting access to specific Records
previously marked for posthumous release, notifying designated Contacts, and activating emergency
protocols as configured by the user. This mechanism ensures that essential documents and
information are securely and respectfully passed on when the user is no longer present.
